Wesley Chapel News:
The Decoration Day services were well attended both in the morning and afternoon. The picnic dinner served in the basement of the church was also a very enjoyable affair. The music was especially fine and there were also many very complimentary remarks on the talk by Rev. Hufstader. Following the talk there were several recitations by the younger people and a short address by Robert Pierson, one of the three Civil War veterans who were present. The other old veterans present were James Moore, of the Benton school district, and A. S. Paul of Henderson.

At the close of the services, at the church, the march to the cemetery began with the World's War boys in the lead, followed by the Civil War veterans carrying the flag. Then the eighteen flower girls following with the flowers for the nine graves of old soldiers.
