I believe I located William T. Madison’s father.
When William Madison died in World War II, his father was listed as Joseph Madison, living in Van Nuys, California and his mother as Myrtle Schultz.
William was born February 21, 1921 in Lansing, Michigan. I located a Joseph and Myrtle Madison in the 1921 Lansing city directory: 203-1/2 Reo Ave.
After divorce from Myrtle, he remarried and lived in Chicago.
In the California Death Index, I located a Joseph Madison who was born 28 February 1899 in Tennessee and who died 4 October 1971 in Los Angeles, California.
In the World War I Draft Registrations, I located a Joseph Edward Madison born February 28, 1899 in Hardin County, Tennessee;
In the WW II Draft Registration, he is living in California.
Father: William Thomas Madison of Savannah, Hardin, Tennessee

What do you think? Especially his father’s name is an exact match for a son.
