Cannot find any information on the Pokasty family.
I was told that they had a small graveyard on a piece of land and that a farmer went in and bulldozed up five bodies before he was stopped. Now the cemetery is on his land but you cannot get to it. Wondering if there's any information on this for this is all of my great grandmother's side. It was said to be near the Quarry. Sometimes our name was spelled pokesty. Maria and James Pokasty we were told that they came over with a lot of other family members Pagusta or Pacosta. Any help from this mystery would be very appreciated.
