I am thrilled to hear from you. I no longer use the email address that was part of the original thread so I didn't get your email until today. I want to learn so much more.

My violin has a label inside with a violin and a moon and the city of Lisbon, ND. Is Minot nearby? Do you think your great grandfather might have know Elmer? Great to hear you have one of his violins. I would love to connect with you and your grandmother. I live in California but am planning a trip to North Dakota in the spring of 2013 in hopes of finding Elmer's violin workshop in Lisbon. Hope to hear from you again.
