WILLIAM H. STIPP
was married twice. His second marriage was to Clara E. Hollenbeck, of Marshall county, May 27, 1884, and to this union one son has been born, W. Leland Stipp, who is managing the Hotel Cecil at Moosejaw, Canada. Mr. and Mrs. Stipp are attendants of the Presbyterian church, of which Mrs. Stipp is a member.

Stipp, W. H., grain, coal and seeds, also proprietor of Stipp's Hotel, State Centre; born June 15, 1842 in Waynesville, Illinois; in April 1866 came to State Centre; first engaged as bookkeeper for Carpenter Bros. & Co.; in 1869 commenced his present business. Married H E Culver December 8, 1869; she was born November 27, 1846 in Kendall County, Illinois; have one child- Harley H. born February 25, 1872. Enlisted April 1, 1861 in Co. C, 10th Ill. V.I. and served to the close of the war.
