Marshalltown, Iowa, Oct 8, 1875; s/o George W. & Susan (Gould); ed. at Univ. of Colorado, B.S., 1900; Johns Hopkins Univ., 1904; captain football team, 1899; initiated by Colorado Chi, Sept. 25, 1896; brother of Omar E. Garwood, Colorado Zeta; eminent archon, 1900; delegate to S.A.E. Nat'l convention at Boston, Mass., 1900, delegate to S.A.E. Nat'l convention at Washington D.C., 1902, from Denver S.A.E. Alumni assoc., delegate to province Eta convention at Denver, 1901, 1910, president of province Eta; m. Amy S. Johnson, Evansville, Wis., Sept. 5, 1905.
