This is a response to your Reuvers query, Mickey.
I have done some work on this & talked to his
granddaughter in Newton (now deceased). He did
photography in Pella a long time, from 1876 to 1930 when he sold his business to Steve Van Roekel. His studio burned in March, 1926, &
most of his equipment & files were lost then.
There's hardly a Pella family that doesn't have
old pictures taken by John Reuvers. Let me know if you need more info.
