Mrs. Harvey (Martha Jane) Brice died on Wednesday, May 4th, and was buried at Pleasant Ridge on Thursday, Rev. F. W. Evans, of Knoxville, preaching the funeral sermon. She was about 67 years of age and was sick but a short time. One of old settlers, she was a member of the M. E. church. She was a woman beloved by all, and had a wide circle of friends. The stricken husband has the sympathy of all.
