Graveside services for Alex Whaley was held November 7 at Eureka cemetery. Mr. Whaley was raised to manhood in the Eureka neighborhood. He had been in failing health for several years and was cared for by a son, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Whaley, at their home, in Deep River. After the burial, the family and friends were served lunch at the E. E. Larsen home.
