Mrs. Engle H. Visser, a resident of Harvey, died Friday, October 30, at the Sunny Slope sanitarium, in Ottumwa, aged 20 years.
Ruth B. Hegwood, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hegwood of Harvey, was born October 4, 1916. She was united in marriage to Engle H. Visser, June 12, 1933, and to this union one son, G. V. Visser was born. The deceased is survived by her husband and son, mother and one brother.
Mrs. Visser confessed Christ as her personal Savior while confined in the hospital and said she was ready to die. She was an inmate of the Sunny Slope sanitarium for seven months.
Funeral services were held Monday, November 2, from the Harvey M.E. church, conducted by Rev. S. P. Trostle, of Attica. Burial was made in the Eureka cemetery.

Ruth B. Hegwood, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hegwood of Harvey, Iowa, was born Oct. 4th, 1916 and departed this life at the Sunnyslope hospital, Ottumwa, Oct. 30th at 4 p.m. She was united in marriage to Engle H. Visser June 12th 1933. To this union was born one son, G. V. Visser, age 21 months.
She is survived by her mother and one brother, husband and little son.
She confessed Christ as her personal savior while confined to the hospital and said she was ready to go. She was confined to the hospital for seven months.
Funeral services were held Nov. 2, at the Harvey M.E. church, conducted by Rev. S. P. Trostle of Attica. Interment at Eureka cemetery.
