KNOXVILLE JOURNAL, JANUARY 26, 1881 "DEATHS CALL"

There is mourning today in the house of E.B. Ruckman, of Union Township. Mrs. R., having died at 6:30 pm yesterday, January 25. We are unable at this hour to learn particulars beyond the facts that the funeral is to take place at 3:00 pm today, and that an infant child is to be laid in the coffin with the mother. Several children are left to the care of the bereaved husband and father, with whom hundreds of friends will deeply sympathize.
