William Lloyd “Bill” Redding, 62, of Bussey, died Tuesday, April 22, 2003 at Pella Regional health Center in Pella. No formal services have been planned.
Bill was born September 10, 1940 in Albia, the son of Samuel Lloyd and Bertha Jane (Oliver) Redding. He was a graduate of Lovilia High School, class of 1958. He served in the U.S. Army from February of 1960 through February of 1963. He received his bachelor degree in business from Drake University in Des Moines.
He lived in Atlanta, Ga. most of his life where he was a warehouse manager for the Georgia Light Company and later sold real estate there. He moved back to Marion County in 1998. He loved to travel.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother, Bertha Redding of Pleasantville; two brothers and their wives, Tom and Gay Redding of Bussey and Ted and Doris Redding of Parnell; and a sister, Sally Murphy of Knoxville.
Arrangements were made by Winfield Funeral Home in Albia.
