SMITH - Lloyd E. Smith, son of the late Alfred and Genora Smith, died at the Mt. Pleasant hospital at 8:30 o'clock this morning, June 8, 1835 [sic], aged 33 years, after an extended illness. Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. Burial in the Bluff Creek cemetery. (Daily Herald, Oskaloosa, Iowa, Saturday, June 8, 1935, page 7)
