FREMONT SCHOOL JANITOR CALLED
Robert M’Kibben Succumbs At Packwood Suddenly On Thanksgiving Day.

Packwood.—Robert McKibben, 72 years old, of Fremont, died suddenly at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Davis, at Packwood. Mr. McKibben was janitor of the Fremont school for eighteen years.

Mr. and Mrs. McKibben had been to the Christian church at Packwood for dinner. About 4:30 he and Jarrel Davis, father of Charles Davis, returned to the Davis home. Mr. McKibben fell in the Davis yard. He had complained after dinner of not feeling well, it was understood.

Mr. Davis called help. As there was no telephone service at Packwood Thursday, a doctor was sent for, but Mr. McKibben was dead when he arrived.

Mr. McKibben is survived by his wife, two sons, Earl of Fremont (Ottumwa rural route), and Herbert of Oskaloosa; two daughters, Mrs. Sylvia Dimmitt of near Highland Center (Ottumwa rural route), and Mrs. Davis of Packwood; by two sisters and some grandchildren. Funeral services will probably be held at Fremont Saturday or Sunday. The body was removed to Fremont.
