Edwards - Lokers marriage (1936)

The marriage of Miss Mary M. Lokers, to Lloyd H. Edwards, took place at 7:30 p.m., Friday, August 28, 1936, with Rev. Marion H. Williams officiating at the doubel [sic] ring ceremony performed at the First Christian church parsonage.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Lokers of Beacon. She is a graduate of Oskaloosa high school and attended William Penn college. During the past several years she has been teaching in the grade school at Beacon.
Me. Edwards, the son of Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Edwards, 805 High avenue east, was also graduated from Oskaloosa high school, attended William Penn college, and is now associated with his father as a coal operator. After September 1, the couple will be at home at 1109 A avenue east. (Source unknown; likely The Oskaloosa Herald)
