Funeral services for Glen Beem, 83, Lisbon, N.D., will be there at 2:30 Saturday in Armstrong chapel. He died Thursday.
Mr. Beem was born May 31, 1899, at Peru, Iowa, and grew up in the Elliott, N.D., area. He was a veteran of World War I.
On Dec. 23, 1919, he married Marie Stroh at Moorhead. They farmed in the Lisbon area. He was also employed by the State Fish and Game Department. She died in 1980.
Survivors include five sons and three daughters, Ronald and Willard, both Milnor, N.D.; Virgil, Foster City, Calif.; Herbert, Tucson, Ariz.; Harvey, Escanaba, Mich.; Mrs. Everett (Geraldine) McDaniel, Oakes, N.D.; Mrs. Marvin (Gwendolyn) Koepke, Port Aransas, Texas, and Mrs. Orville (Germaine) Rydquist, Wahpeton, N.D.; a sister, Mrs. Ed Lindburg, in New Mexico; 22 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
