This community was greatly saddened by the death of Mrs. Carl Lee Tuesday morning at her home in Akeley. Her death was very sudden. Mrs. Lee (Mattie Arnold) had been of poor health for some time, but of late she seemed much improved.
She was a very active member in her church and also in the American Legion Auxiliary. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She leaves to mourn her loss: her husband, Carl Lee, son Jackie, and daughters Leona, Clara, and Marie.
Services were held at the German Lutheran church at Akeley Friday afternoon. Our. community extends deepest sympathy to the bereaved family.
