Mrs. J. G. Haskins, aged 72 years, died early yesterday morning at the Lincoln, Eleventh and Morrison streets, of acute bronchitis. Mrs. Haskins, accompanied by her husband, arrived in Portland just nine days ago from Des Moines, Iowa, with the intention of living in this city.

Arrangements for the funeral have not yet been completed, but it will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock, probably from the First Presbyterian church. Rev. Edgar P. Ill will officiate. The interment will be in the Riverview cemetery.

Mrs. Haskins is survived by her husband and one daughter, Mrs. C. A. Howell, of this city.Mr. Howell, of the Howell Shingle Company, at Skamokawa, arrived in Portland from Iowa about dix months ago, being interested in a big shingle mill on the lower Columbia.

Mrs. Haskins was born in Charleston, New Hampshire, and had been a lifelong member of the Presbyterian church. Mr. Haskins until the time of his departure from organ, was one of the well-known bankers of Des Moines.
