Friday, October 22, 2021Winterset - Mark Robert Fleagle, 61, of Winterset, Iowa passed away from cancer on October 3, 2021 at UnityPoint Hospice Taylor House in Des Moines, Iowa with his daughter by his side. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa on December 30, 1959 to Buddy and Sondra Fleagle.
Mark attended Roosevelt High School and Iowa School of Beauty. Mark had a successful career as a hairstylist before he joined McAninch as an operating engineer. He later worked for the Union Pacific Railroad as a conductor for 12 years.
During his lifetime, Mark loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed bicycling and working to restore his 1976 Viscount bike. He loved collecting music and movies. He also enjoyed drawing and painting.
Mark is survived by his daughter, Mallory Mattson; his mother, Sondra Fleagle; his brother, Steven Fleagle; as well as many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Buddy Fleagle.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00pm., Saturday, October 30, 2021 at LifePoint Assembly of God, 801 N Fillmore St., Osceola, IA 50213.
