Brenda Marie Mateer

Brenda Marie Mateer, age 60, died June 24, 2021 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.

Visitation 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 29th at O'Leary Funeral Services in Norwalk with a Celebration of Life Service 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 30th at the Norwalk United Methodist Church.

Memorials in her name or to the Norwalk United Methodist Church will be accepted.

Brenda worked as a teacher for over 28 years in Carlisle, Norwalk, Winterset and Indianola. She is survived by her husband, Randy; parents, Dean and Maggie Malone; three children, Travis (Katelyn) and their baby-girl Lennon Jean of Polk City, Tori of Denver, CO, and Trey of Des Moines; and three siblings, Brant (Tina) Malone of Chariton, Stacy Malone of Des Moines, and Buzz Malone of Cedar Rapids.
