Julie Ann McKeever

Julie Ann McKeever 62 of Fremont, Ia passed away on June 17th 2021 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, due to complications from lung cancer.

Julie was born in Des Moines to Laverne and Patsy Cook. She attended School in Des Moines also. As she became and adult she would start her career as a bartender. First at Dandy's in Indianola and then at the Truro Tap where she met many people who became friends.

Julie loved to spend time with her grandkids. She enjoyed crafting, planting flowers and she was always up for a good bonfire with family and friends.

Julie is survived by her husband of 33 yrs Aaron Hoppock. 4 children, Jami (Travis) Monohon of Fremont,IA, Mark McKeever of Winterset, IA, Jennifer McKeever of Winterset, IA and Brady (Kaitlin) Hoppock of Lacona, IA. 11 grandchildren Zachary, Dylan, Ava, Addisyn, Keelyn, Breckyn, Johnny, Jaydi, Leo, Kalliope and Hank. 2 great grandchildren Atlas and Emerson. 8 siblings Pam Hill of Ohio, Kevin Miller of Casey, Bill Cook of Des Moines, Margaret Clarke of Des Moines, Carla Smith of Waukee, Lisa Kennedy of Montana, David Cook of Des Moines, Patty Jorn of Nebraska, and many nieces and nephews.

Julie is proceeded in death by her parents Laverne & Patsy Cook and both sets of grandparents Emery & Margaret Ward and Garland & Louise Cook.
