William Turk, 75, Dies; Rites Set

William A. Turk, 75, died Friday at the Elmcrest Nursing Home, 2348 E. Ninth St., of a heart ailment. He formerly lived at 3910 Dubuque St.

Born in Bevington, Mr. Turk had lived in Des Moines 60 years and was a retired carpenter. He was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 106.

Surviving are one son, Sam S. Turk, Des Moines, and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Blair Chapel, near St. Charles, with burial there. Friends may call Sunday at the Dahlstrom Funeral Home.
