Helen Shutt received word Thursday, June 19, that her sister-in-law, Garnetta Shutt, 70, of Los Angeles had died. Garnetta was the daughter of Henry and Effie Strawn Shutt, a sister of the late Vern and Clee Shutt. She will be remembered in the Broadhorn neighborhood as she attended rural school there and graduated from the St. Charles High School. She never married.
