Funeral Services For Mrs. Gillogly Set For Tuesday

ORANGE, Oct. 15. —Mrs. Rebecca Gillogly, 71, a resident of Orange and vicinity since 1905, passed away this morning at the home of her son, J. M. Gillogly, at Vista, after a few months’ illness. She came to Orange from St. Charles, Ia.

Surviving Mrs. Gillogly besides her son are one daughter, Mrs. Effie Nelson, of Strathmore, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Steven Edwards, of Claremont and Mrs. J. C. Campbell, of Leon, Ia., and four brothers, A. J. Lee, of Olive; J. B. Lee, of San Francisco; Joseph Lee, of Truro, Ia., and W. T. Lee, of Scio, Ore.

Funeral services are to be held Tuesday at 2 p. m. at the Gillogly Funeral chapel, with Dr. J. E. Dunning, pastor of the First Methodist church, of which Mrs. Gillogly was a member, in charge. Interment will be made in Fairhaven cemetery.

HOLD FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. GILLOGLY

ORANGE, Oct. 17. – Last rites for Mrs. Rebecca Gillogly, 71, who passed away early Monday morning at the home of her son, J. M. Gillogly, at Vista, following a few months’ illness, were held this afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Gillogly Funeral home, with Dr. James Edwin Dunning, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiating.

Miss Helen Gillogly sang “Face to Face” and “Peace, Peace, Sweet Peace.” She was accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Florence Gillogly Donegan, who played before and after the services.

Pallbearers were Charles Morrow, C. E. Squires, Walter Adams, Thomas Green, L. L. Williams and Edward J. Browne.

Mrs. Gillogly, who had lived in Orange since 1905, is survived by her son, J. M. Gillogly; one daughter, Mrs. Effie Nelson, of Strathmore, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Steven Edwards, of Claremont, and Mrs. J. C. Campbell, of Leon, Ia., and four brothers, A. J. Lee, of Olive; J. B. Lee, of San Francisco; Joseph Lee, of Truro, Ia., and W.T. Lee, of Scio, Ore. Interment was made in Fairhaven cemetery.
