Mrs. I. B. Clark, Falls City, killed in accident

FALLS CITY, (UP). Mrs. I. B. Clark, 63, wife of a Falls City auctioneer, was killed Sunday when a car driven by Vernon Lippold overturned after skidding on gravel near Hamlin, Kas. Mrs. Clark’s grandson, Neil Henriksen, Topeka, was slightly injured. Lippold was only bruised.

Mrs. S. B. Clark, 63, of Falls City, Neb., who was killed Tuesday in a car accident near Hamlin, Kan., was an aunt of Mrs. M. W. Schottler, 1306 Exchange. The car in which Mrs. Clark was riding was driven by Vernon Lippold, Falls City, and it overturned after skidding on gravel. Mr. Lippold and Mrs. Clark’s young grandson, Neil Henriksen, Topeka, were injured, but were reported today as recovering satisfactorily.

Mrs. Clark had visited Mrs. Schottler in Emporia several times. She was the wife of a veteran Falls City auctioneer and merchant, who was well known in Emporia and Lyon County.
