Ada M. Shutt, 81, of 4333 Parkridge Ave., Pleasant Hill, died of heart ailment Monday at home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at McLaren’s Funeral Chapel, with burial at St. Charles Cemetery.

Mrs. Shutt was born in Ada, Kan., and lived in West Des Moines most of her life, coming from Lewis. She retired as a machine operator for Delavan Manufacturing and was a member of Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are two sons, William of Hollister, Mo., and Russell of Leon; a daughter, Loretta Lamb of Pleasant Hill; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will visit with friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral chapel.
