Mrs. George Boling, 71, shot herself at her home in Lorimor Friday. The funeral was held in Lorimor Sunday and was attended by many Madison county residents who were old friends of the family. No cause is known for the suicide.
Mrs. Boling before her marriage was Theresa Schoenenberger, a member of the old Schoenenberger family of Walnut township, and a sister of John, Henry and Edward Schoenenberger.
Mr. and Mrs. Boling lived a good many years on the old Boling farm in Scott township before going to Lorimor. Their daughter is a prominent attorney in Des Moines.
