Mary Ellen Forman, daughter of Jacob and Mary Forman, was born in Madison county, February 15, 1881 and passed away at her home near New Virginia, February 17, 1934 at the age of 53 years and 2 days.

On August 25, 1901 she was united in marriage to James S. Bonney. To this union 5 children were born, Ethel who died August 19, 1927, Verne, Orville, Ralph and Ruth.

Funeral services were held at the M. E. church at 2 o’clock, Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Moore. Burial in New Virginia cemetery.
