Jim F. Rudolf was born May 13, 1906 on a farm in Madison County to Nancy Harrison Rudolf and John F. Rudolf, and passed away July 6, 1968 in the Guthrie County Hospital at the age of 62 years, one month and 23 days.

Jim was united in marriage to Sylvia Murphy Wiebenga, March 14, 1947. He spent most of his life farming, and only the last 7 months had moved to Menlo, where he and his wife had been operating the Menlo Café.

Mr. Rudolf was preceded in death by his father and mother and one brother, Henery Rudolf.

Those left to mourn his passing are his wife, Sally, a step son, Jim Wiebenga and his wife Marge and three grandsons, Denny, Randy and Duane; three brothers, Frank Rudolf Sr., Winterset, Clarence Rudolf and Eugene Rudolf, Des Moines, and their wives; also one sister, Mary Roberts, Dexter, several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Services were held Tuesday, July 9 from the Menlo Methodist Church with Rev. Wallace Kinzler in Charge. Vocalists were Lester and John Jones. Mrs. Lester Jones was the organist. Mrs. John Gomez and Mrs. Lester Hay had charge of the flowers. Pallbearers were John Gomez, Clifford Capp, Lawrence Hurst, Gaylord Sheeder, Lester Hay and Keith Hogan.

Interment was in the Winterset cemetery.
