The LeMars Sentinel says: “Eddie May, 14 years old, and a son of Col. Wm. B. May, of Lyon County, shot himself at the house of James Roberts, in that county, on Monday, the 6th inst. He was placing a gun in a wagon, when it accidentally discharged, the contents lodging in his head and killing him instantly.”
