Grandview, October 16- Rush C. Vibber was born in Wyandotte county, Ohio, May 12, 1834 and departed this life October 6, 1906. He came to this county in 1857; was married to Miss Catherine Stineman November 17, 1863. To them six children were born, five of whom are still living, one son, Harley R., dying in infancy. His wife died January 1903.

Besides his children he leaves two brothers, one sister and one step sister and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his loss. The funeral was held at 2 o'clock Saturday at the Evangelical church, conducted by Rev. Hummel and the remains were laid to rest in the Grandview cemetery.
