Mrs. George has died. Janette Edmondson was born in Blunt county, Tennessee, June 8, 1829. She died near Fredonia, Nov. 5, 1905, at the age of 76 years, 5 months and 3 days. She was married to Vincent George in 1849. Six years later, with one son David, they moved to their residence in Louisa county, at which place she gave birth to four children, two boys and two girls, two of whom died in infancy. Later they moved to Seard County, Neb where she buried her husband in 1881. From that time on she lived with her children in Lincoln, Neb. Three years later her daughter died. In 1884 she returned to her brother, Robert Edmondson, near Fredonia, at whose home she passed away. She leaves one brother, two sons, seven grandchildren and a host of friends to mourn her departure. While Mrs. George was not a member of any church, she was a professing Christian and a good woman. The funeral was held on Tuesday at 2 p. m. conducted by Rev. W. S. Kight, of Eddyville. Interment at Indian Creek cemetery.
