Mrs. Ruth Ada Griffin, 55, of 1300 Forty-first St., died of a heart ailment Tuesday at the Hammond Convalescent hospital in West Des Moines. She had been ill three weeks.

Mrs. Griffin came to Des Moines from Washington, la., three years ago. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are her husband, Harold W. Griffin; a son, John, 7; her mother, Mrs. Harriet E. Clark, Omaha, Neb.; a sister, Mrs. B. S. Noland, Omaha: and two brothers, R. L. Clark, Le Mars, Ia., and Clair Clark of Columbus Junction, la.

Services will be at 2 p. m. Thursday at the White Funeral home, 2505 Grand ave. Later services and burial will be at Columbus Junction.

Concord — Mrs. Harold Griffin, former resident of this community, died at the Hammond Nursing home in West Des Moines at 4:15 p. m. Tuesday. She was Miss Ruth Clark before her marriage.

Funeral rites will be held at 2 p. m. Friday at the Pleasant Grove Bethel church with burial in the Indian Creek cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. H. W. Griffin, Des Moines, formerly of Columbus Junction, who died in the Hammond Nursing Home at Des Moines Tuesday following an illness of three weeks were held in the Pleasant Grove Bethel church east of here at 2 p. m. Friday. Burial in the Indian Creek cemetery.

Surviving are the widower; her mother, a sister, Mrs. Burton Noland, Omaha, and two brothers Clair, Columbus Junction, and Robert, Le Mars.
