(Note: I transcribed this obituary exactly as it was written in the original news article even though her stated age and the dates don't "add up.")

Lelia McGill was born Aug. 23, 1890 at Grandview, Iowa, and died Apr. 26, 1910, at her home at Anoka, Minn., aged 11 years 8 months and 3 days. She grew to young womanhood in the vicinity of Grandview and was loved and respected by all who knew her. In disposition Lelia was a little "home body" caring little for society, choosing rather to use her time and energy in showing a cheerful, willing helpfulness to those about her, thereby endearing herself to the home circle in a way which will make her so sadly missed by those to whom she was near and dear. She was united in marriage to Guy Kallenberger, June 10, 1900. Besides her husband she leaves a little babe one month old, her father, mother, two sisters and one brother to mourn her early, and it seems to us, her untimely death. But God knoweth best, and to Him in whom she put her trust, she has gone.

"Tho' we mourn her here with sorrow And with hearts all filled with pain, On some golden, glad tomorrow, We shall greet her once again.

The beautiful floral offerings and large concourse of friends who followed her to her last resting place bore evidence of the esteem in which she was held in the community. The funeral occurred at the Methodist church in Grandview April 29th, conducted by J.R. Hammond. Interment in the Grandview cemetery.
