Neva Lee Zieser, 75, of Center Point, IA died in the peaceful presence of her family on January 4, 2012, at Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, Iowa, after a valiant two and a half year battle with ovarian cancer.

The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday, January 6, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Center Point.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 7 at the First Christian Church, Center Point, officiated by Pastor Mike Ellson.

Neva was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed golfing and attending her grandsons many baseball games and traveling with friends and family.

Neva was born on May 13, 1936 in Center Point to Alta and Paul Steinberg, and lived there all her life.

Neva is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Stanley Zieser, her grateful son, David Zieser and daughter-in-law, Kimberly (Toy) Zieser and her beloved grandsons, Paul and Grant Zieser of Clive, IA. She is preceded in death by her parents.
