Funeral services for Donald R. Konigsmark, 71, Cedar Rapids, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 1994 at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home, with the Rev. Roger Goodson officiating. Burial will be in the Czech National cemetery, with military rites by VFW Post 788.

Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. today, Wednesday, Nov. 9 at the funeral home.

Mr. Konigsmark died of cancer Nov. 7 at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids.

The son of Rudolph and Blanche Martinec Konigsmark, he was born March 27, 1923 in Cedar Rapids. He served in the Army Air Force in World War II and worked as an engineer at FMC for 42 years.

He was a member of American Legion Hanford Post 5, VFW Post 788 and the American Bowling Congress.

Mr. Konigsmark is survived by a son, William and wife Becky, Clarence; 2 daughters, Kathy Jurrus, Castle Rock, Colo. and Barbara Konigsmark Schultz and husband Larry, Cedar Rapids; 5 grandchildren, Lori, Jeremy, Aaron, Andrew and Ashley and good friends Larry and Jan Donner, Cedar Rapids. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Dorothy Sills.

Memorial may be made to the VFW or American Legion.
