Funeral services for Golda M. Deke, 42, Marion, were held at 1 p.m., Oct. 22 at St. Paul's Lutheran church, Marion, Pastor Steven J. Melvin officiating.

Burial was in Cedar Memorial Park cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Pallbearers were members of the church council and board of elders. Organist was Mrs. Sandy Teggatz.

Mrs. Deke was born Sept. 22, 1937, in Waterloo and married Sylvester M. "Sonny" Deke Dec. 3, 1966 in Lowden. She was a past LPN with the Women's Army Corps and at St. Frances Hospital in Waterloo. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church in Marion where she was also a member of Lois Circle. She had been a Girl Scout leader for 8 years. She died Oct. 18 at a Cedar Rapids hospital.

Surviving are her husband; 2 daughters, Sonda Louise and Kamila Kay, both at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Larson of Arizona; a brother, Larry Larson of Wichita, Kans.; and 2 sisters, Mrs. Karla Miles and Mrs. JoDee Neptune, both of Waterloo.
