—Charles H. Clark died at Cedar Rapids last Saturday. The Republican says the death “causes universal sorrow in the city. Few men were better known or more highly respected and loved.”

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Aug. 23, 1840 and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery.
