Jeanne R. Crew, 73, of 3820 Bever Ave. SE, died at her home Saturday after a long illness. A lifelong resident of Marion and Cedar Rapids, she was born Dec. 5, 1907, at Marion. She was married to Dr. Philip I. Crew on Dec. 3, 1927, at Marion. Mrs. Crew was a 1926 graduate of Marion High School.
Survivors besides her husband include two daughters, Mrs. Howard Howe of Marion and Mrs. Robert Moorman of Cedar Rapids; one brother, three sisters; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Private graveside services were held today at Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion, by Dr. Russell Striffler, director of chaplains at St. Luke's Hospital. The Murdoch Funeral Home, Marion, was in charge of arrangements.
