Frank Eugene died a the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Bloomhall, 2329 Bever avenue SE, at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday after a brief illness. He was born June 24, 1852 at Dundee, Ill. On Dec. 25, 1879, he was married to Ida L. Lamb, who died in 1918.
In 1906 he moved to Cedar Rapids, where he resided a year. Then he moved to Marion, where he lived until four weeks ago when he returned to Cedar Rapids to make his home with his daughter.
In addition to his daughter, he is survived by two grandchildren, Mrs. Dean Stauffacher and William A. Bloomhall, both of Cedar Rapids; one brother, George T. Austin, and a nephew, Carl E. Austin, both of Winnipeg, Canada.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Turner chapel at 2 p.m. Friday by the Rev. George Stauffacher. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
