James C. Jones.
James Chester Jones, 65, R.F.D. No. 4 Marion, died at a local hospital at 6:45 p.m. Sunday after a few days illness.
He was born in Canada and came to the United States when 17 years old. He had been a resident of Linn county for forty years.
He was employed as conductor for the Cedar Rapids and Marion City Railway company for seventeen years, until four years ago when his health failed.
He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Myrtle.
Funeral services will be held in the Clausen chapel at 2:30 Tuesday, the Rev. W.L. Ewing officiating. Burial will be in Linwood cemetery.
