The Marion Weekly Register Thursday April 28, 1870
DIED. -- At her residence in Marion, Iowa April 23, 1870, age 33 years: Angenora B. Faris, wife of William Faris. Sister Faris was converted when quite young, and united with the church, and was a member of the M.E. church at the time of her death-- a devoted christian, and was enabled to give such testimony as is seldom given, even on the deathbed of christians. Her illness was short, but very painful. She bore her suffering with resignation. In answer to the question whether she was prepared to die, she answered, "Yes, Jesus is with me, I am very happy," and then said to her pastor, "Pray with me that the will of the Lord may be done," and soon passed to her reward. She leaves a husband and four children.
