OBITUARY.
JORDAN--Frederick Jordan was born in Hanover, Germany, January 11th, 1813, and died at his residence in Linn Township, June 21st, 1871.
Dr. Jordan was one of the earliest settlers of the County, having come here more than 30 years ago. He was a man of piety, distinguished for his activity in the Church, loved as a father and husband, esteemed as a neighbor and greatly respected as a citizen. He had been a member of the M.E. Church for nearly 30 years. Always consistent in life, he fell asleep in Christ. A wife and three children mourn his loss.
