Mrs. Bromwell Dies; Last Rites Thursday
Mrs. Theodora Stearns Bromwell, 85, of Marion, widow of James E. Bromwell, died at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday after a long illness.
Born Sept. 20, 1861, at Cedar Falls, she moved to Cedar Rapids in 1868 and to Marion in 1878. Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Marion Methodist church, a past worthy matron of Chapter 183, O.E.S., and the Entre Nous club.
Services will be conducted in the Yocom chapel at 10 a.m. Thursday by the Rev. James P. Gable. Burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
