On the 2nd instant, in this city, Miss Lizzie Wise, aged 16 years and 11 months. She was born in Canton, Ill., in September 1851. In 1853 her family moved to Iowa. In 1858 she had a severe attack of scarlet fever and never recovered her health. Her life was that of a patient, faithful christian. Her funeral was attended by a large circle of friends who sympathized with her family in their bereavement.
