Spoon collection

JEFFERSON

Recently I was viewing my grandmothers old spoon collection. I found a spoon from Keokuk, IA written in cursive on the back of the spoon, and the spoon appears to be quite old. The name on the middle of the handle is Joseph Jefferson, the end of the handle is a colonial type male sitting on a table with his boot perched on a four legged stool and he has a drinking cup in his left hand and a towel in his right hand. In the spoon it says "Here's your good health and your family's and may they all live long and prosper". It is a Sterling W.M. Williams & Son. Can anyone give me information on this spoon or the name Joseph Jefferson. Thank you in advance.
