FRANK JEFFERY

Frank Jeffery, 60, of Montrose rural route 1, died Monday, Nov. 2, 1981, at 5:15 a.m. at the University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City.

Born March 9, 1921 at Argyle, he was the son of Ernest and Ella Roe Jeffery.

He married Louise Tansill on Sept. 16, 1953 at Grafton, West Virginia. She survives.

He was a retired Navy veteran with 20 years service and served in WWII. He was employed at Sheaffer-Eaton at Ft. Madison for 19 years.

Surviving, in addition to his widow, are one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Kim) Fedler of Ft. Madison; one son, Tim Jeffery of Houston, Texas; one brother, Charles Jeffery of Salt Lake City, Utah; six sisters, Mrs. Gladys Derr of Donnellson, Mrs. Delbert (Freda) Pottorff of Wever, Mrs. Claude (Elsie) Skinner of Argyle, Mrs. John (Florence) Kite of Farmington, Mrs. Alva (Virgie) Rudd of Donnellson rural route, and Mrs. Wayne (Velma) Little of Monticello, Mo.; two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

The funeral will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the Hofbauer Funeral Home at Donnellson with the Pastor Donald Stoll officiating.

Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery at Fort Madison. The family received friends Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Hofbauer Funeral Home, Donnellson.
