Early in the Morning After Six
Months Illness.

Member of St. Peter's
Catholic Church.

William Keefe, who has been a resident of Keokuk all of his life, passed away this morning at 12:30 o'clock at 1204 Park street, following an illness of six months with throat trouble.

Mr. Keefe was born in Keokuk on February 2, 1881, being just past thirty-five years of age. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Margaret Keefe; his mother, Mrs. Cecelia Keefe, both of Keokuk; three sisters, Mrs. William Butler, Keokuk; Mrs. John Mesleion and Mrs. James Le May, St. Louis, and two brothers, James Keefe, St. Louis, and John Keefe, Indiana.

The decedent was a member of St. Peter's Catholic church and was well known in Keokuk. He numbered his friends here by the score and his death has been deeply regretted by all who were acquainted with him. Although ill for many months, he was always a patient sufferer and did not complain. The funeral is to be held from St. Peter's Catholic church on Monday.
