Married at High Noon.

Miss Catherine Wright, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. N. Wright and Thomas Ansel Brown, of Fort Wayne, Maine, were married at high noon yesterday at the home of the parents of the bride, 1228 High street. The house was beautifully decorated with jonquils and smilax and the service was read before a bank of palms. Preceding the ceremony at which Rev. Harry B. Foster officiated. Mrs. Henry Schouten sang "Because God Made Thee Mine" and Miss Jennie Schouten played Lohengrein's wedding march. During the ceremony she played softly "Heart's Desire" and following Mrs. Schouten sang "At Dawning." The bride was dressed in white chiffon over charmeuse and carried a shower boquet of sweet peas and smilax. There were no attendants. Following the ceremony a three course luncheon was served, the dining room table was beautifully decorated with baskets of jonquils and smilax. Later the bride and groom left for Chicago and eastern points to spend their honeymoon and will be at home at 1027 Fulton street after March 15. The guests from out of the city were Mr. and Mrs. Chas. M Schofield of Chicago Heights, Ill.; Miss Mary Tate of Excelsior Springs, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Colvin of Fort Madison, Ia., Mr. and Mrs. John Boyd, Sr., of Montrose, Ia.; and Mrs. Effie Carr and daughter Helen of Chillicothe, Mo.
