Autumn Wedding.

A pretty autumn wedding took place in St. Peter's Catholic church at 5 o'clock this morning, when Miss Mary E. McCaffrey became the bride of John P. House. The couple were attended by Miss Cecelia McCaffrey, cousin of the bride, and Mr. Thomas McCaffrey, a brother of the bride.

Immediately after the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride's mother: about thirty guests were present including relatives.

The bride is the charming and accomplished daughter of Mrs. Ellen McCaffrey, 421 Carroll street, and has hosts of friends, won by her amiable disposition. Several pre-nuptial events have been given in her honor.

The groom is a young man of sterling character, who is well and favorably known in Keokuk. He is a valued foreman in the employ of the Hubinger Bros.

The bridal party departed at 8:25 for Kansas City and St. Joe, Mo.

After December 1 they will be at home to their many friends at 725 Palean street.
